Mission

Addiction Family Resources is a non-profit 29-day substance abuse treatment facility. Many different walks of life come through the doors, often times without clothing, jobs, or homes to go back to. AFR finds ways to donate necessities, help with jobs and housing, and gives the clients a positive support system to fall back on. The facility offers 24-hour counseling, homemade meals, positive enviroment for growth, and after care services upon completion of the program.

Success Stories

I wanted to share my success story with other people to let them know there is hope for all of us that have had addictions in our lives. Since July of 2005 I have entered and completed various chemical dependency treatments, continually falling back into relapse of my addiction of alcohol.
On July 10, 2007 I entered treatment at Addiction Family Resources, which was my 3rd treatment. The program normally runs around 4 weeks. I stayed at Addiciton Family Resources for 6 weeks, in order for my counselor to see that my individual progress was met. I ended treatment around August 21, 2007. I am excited to report that I have been clean and sober for over 1000 days. I have recently been granted my trainee status to be a Chemical Dependency Counselor and am grateful to be able to help others that need help with their addiction.
